Do you consider Golf a sport?

Personally I don't think it's a sport. It's a game. Like checkers or chess.

I dunno, a lot of old dudes die on the course. So I guess it can be pretty stressing if you're walking the whole course instead of farting around in one of those carts. I'd say it's a game that involves skill and a minimal amount of physical effort. Kinda like bowling.

Golf sucks. I'd rather shoot duck's.

Nope, in my eyes it is not a sport. City slickers probably would say it is. But to each their own.

However I have always wanted to have a guy really good at hitting those golf balls go out in the boonies somewhere and see many times I could shoot a golf ball with a shotgun once he yelled 4. ..............................

OK So maybe golf by my rules might be a redneck sport.

You might be on to something. The thought of redneck golf brings all kinds of images to mind.

Just think of the cool golf carts we would have.

Looks like it could be some fun. In the shape I am in I might have a heck of a time getting up in the drivers seat.

ZOD, i agree with you that it can be a game, however it depends on whether it is for fun or for competition.
