State Government Waste

One of my customers bought a ex state Vermeer 1250 brush chipper from the Vermeer dealer for $1,000.

He had the radiator cleaned and repaired, installed a used repaired hydraulic tank, filter and the needed fittings and the oil sending switch for the engine. So he told me what the parts cost less than $500.00 closer to 400.

The machine runs and chips good. The engine sounded real good..

No doubt the State traded this in for a new one and the dealer did not want to fool with it.

The State has it's own mechanics so this is very wasteful, they could have bought the parts and use the labor they/we are paying for and kept this machine in service.

Typical government waste, I cleaned the paint off the decal to prove it was a state machine..

Maryland is a VERY blue state and overwhelmingly supports this mess of a law. Catering to your customers is good business.
